And if they are your standard forward firing monkey coffins, the spectral balance of the room reflections will be very different from the direct sound coming from the speaker. And that doesn't sound very good at all. Siegfried Linkwitz was highly accomplished in loudspeaker design. What are your qualifications?

These are Nagra Ref mono amps.

old dog not lifelike performer inside the box no imaging. fast listening fatigue. expensive garbage.

vocals and piano the best demo music. in piano notes should decay and float. impossible for one types. inefficient and high distortion. vocals is the way to test imaging. thick and heavy footprints at the center.

it's playing "PINK PANTHER" for god's sake... it's a generic, easily recognizable music peace...

What box? It's an open baffle design. There's frame, but no box, just panels affixed to the frame.

get any amps you want, not every audio set up has to be an art piece, some people actually listen to the music on their speakers... The guy who designed those speakers was SPECIFICALLY against the bullshit speaker pseudo-audiophiles that care if their speakers match the drapes...

@@pretol7920 my amps are hand build by DNM Denis Morecroft, a British legend, there is no clutter and no miles and tons of folded metal. nope, it's in an other class altogether.

@@TheHIFICLUBEbyJVH The first thing cell phone recordings miss is the bass as their mics just don't have the bandwidth. Always enjoy your coverage and appreciate your efforts. Not sure if you got to the Zellaton room with their new Reference Ultra.....my new fav speaker...regardless of price. Ultimate Audio should really stock Zellaton.

@@TheHIFICLUBEbyJVH Just listened again and I suspect that the Avalon Isis room and Stenheim/Nagra rooms are recorded using your Nagra SD and possibly the Soulution but not sure as Soulution never sounds good to me in Munich....have heard them sound good with Zellaton speakers. I could be totally wrong with my guesses but this is fun anyway. Munich rooms are very challenging for everyone.

I t depends on the video. Some were simply made with a Rode microphone mounted on cellphone. A few were recorded with a Nagra SD digital recorder at 96/24. See if you can spot them.
